Every year The Colony honors the true American Heroes. Join us as we salute our veterans and celebrate them with family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and much more on Saturday, November 10. Check out the full day’s lineup.
American Heroes 5K / 10K and 1 Mile Fun Run
Start the day off with a 1 mile, 5K, or 10K run! Proceeds benefit the local American Legion Holley-Riddle Post 21, Inc. Registration is now open for all ages and abilities.
Stewart Creek Park (3700 Sparks Road)

Holiday Craft Bazaar
Enjoy holiday shopping while supporting local makers! The Holiday Craft Bazaar will feature handmade finds, holiday gifts, home décor, jewelry, clothing, and refreshments.

Veteran Ceremonies
Various ceremonies will take place throughout the day designed to honor veterans at American Heroes. Pay tribute to the unselfish contributions by men and women at the “Honor and Remember” memorial ceremony. If you wish to honor a veteran in your life, submit their photo for a special presentation during the Heroes Ceremony.

American Heroes Carnival

Heroes Hut
American Heroes is a family-friendly event that features many ways for little ones to get involved in honoring those who serve. Kids can help create a large patriotic mural or decorate Holiday cards to send to troops overseas. Don’t miss out on patriotic face painting, button making, and much more at the Heroes Hut!

Charity Silent Auction
Be sure to stop by the Silent Auction tent and bid on your favorite items. Bring your checkbook or credit card and help raise funds for Operation Comfort Warrior and 22 Kill, a Veterans suicide awareness organization.

Car, Truck and Bike Show
Don’t miss your chance to see vintage cars, trucks, and motorcycles from across the decades. Cars range from Corvettes to Tri-Five Chevys and Mustangs to Motorcycles. Those who wish to enter can find more information online.
